University of La Verne Law Review Announcements Law Review Editor Taylor Anderson Writes Daily Journal Article on Recent Supreme Court Child Pornography Case May 30, 2008 - Law Review editor, Taylor Anderson, had an article, on a recent United States Supreme Court decision, published in the May 29th edition of the Daily Journal. The article, titled "Protection or Punishment? The Supreme Court's ruling is an appropriate response to a domestic crisis", discussed the decision of U.S. v. Williams which was a child pornography case. The article, an opinion piece, weighed the need for the protection of children against the need to maintain the integrity of the First Amendment protection. The article supported the court's decision of finding no First Amendment protection for pandering child pornography.
