Professor Stacy joined La Verne Law in fall 2009 after a lengthy career in government service and private practice. From 2001 to 2009, Professor Stacy served as an Assistant United States Attorney for the Central District of California. From 1998 to 1999, Professor Stacy was a staff attorney for the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. He served as a judicial law clerk to Judge Emmett Ripley Cox of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit. He is a member of numerous state and federal bars, including the U.S. Supreme Court, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Inland Empire Chapter of the Federal Bar Association.
