An expert in the field of bar preparation, Malana Jones joined La Verne Law in 2009 from BAR/BRI Bar Review, where she served as an assistant legal editor and staff attorney.  As the Special Assistant to the Dean for Recruiting and Retention at Pepperdine, Jones developed a student recruiting plan.  She became the school’s unofficial bar expert, providing skills workshops, individual counseling, and print and web resources. In 2007 Jones was offered a full scholarship to the University of California, Los Angeles, in the Higher Education and Organizational Change program.  While at UCLA, Jones served as a graduate researcher on several projects.
