Professor Daniel joined the College of Law faculty in 2001, bringing with her a wealth of practice experience and moot court familiarity.

As an undergraduate at CSU, Dominguez Hills, Professor Daniel was a finalist in the Stanley Mosk Undergraduate Moot Court Competition. While at Emory University School of Law, she was a finalist in the 1989 Moot Court Competition.

Professor Daniel spent four years as deputy city attorney for the City of Riverside and served as an associate attorney for Reid and Hellyer, P.C. She is a member of the state bars of California, Michigan, Illinois, Washington, and Minnesota and is admitted to the United States District Court, Central District of California.

Professor Daniel, along with Professor Kevin Marshall, received the 2006 Holmes-Cardozo Award for Distinguished Submitted Conference Paper from the Academy of Legal Studies in Business for their work entitled "Avoiding Economic Waste in Contract Damages: Myths, Misunderstanding, and Malcontent."
