Professor Hultman joined the College of Law in 1981. He practiced law both full- and part-time for 21 years; his experience includes bankruptcy, business and personal injury law. He is also a member of the American Bankruptcy Institute.

In 2003, he was named the University-wide Professor of the Year for Graduate Programs. He was the College of Law’s Professor of the Year in 1996, 2000, and 2004 and the College’s Alumni of the Year in 1996.

Professor Hultman has served as a Board of Directors trustee for the Eastern Bar Association and was a member of the Paralegal ABA Advisory Board. He is currently the Faculty Representative to the law school’s Alumni Association Board.

Professor Hultman teaches Bankruptcy, Torts, Remedies and Property.
