Professor Garcia is a graduate of the University of La Verne
College of Law. In addition to being Valedictorian of her class,
she was a Senior Staff Writer for the Journal of Juvenile Law and participated on several award-winning moot court competition teams. She also served as a volunteer law clerk in the Domestic Violence Prosecution Unit of the San Bernardino County District Attorney’s Office.

Professor Garcia teaches Legal Analysis and Writing and directs the Academic Support Program, which assists students gain the skills necessary for success in law school. The Academic Support Program includes Academic Support Workshops, the Peer Assistance and Support System (PASS), and the Graduate Mentor Program.
