As a result of semester overloads, summer course work, study abroad, or the dual degree program, a full-time student may require less than 12 units in his or her sixth and final semester of full-time law study. If a full-time student reduces his or her unit load to less than 12 units in their sixth and final semester at the College of Law, this reduction in units does not reduce that student’s tuition obligation to that of a part-time student. Any such student shall be charged tuition at the applicable full-time rate. This policy also applies to full-time students who take a part-time unit load in their sixth semester of law school, but complete their unit requirements during the summer term immediately following their sixth semester.
