FORMER YALE LAW SCHOOL HEAD OF REFERENCE
APPOINTED HEAD OF THE LAW LIBRARY AT THE UNIVERSITY OF LA VERNE
COLLEGE OF LAW
ONTARIO, CA (AUG. 5, 2002) — Kenneth Rudolf has been
appointed head of the law library according to Kenneth Held, dean
of the University of La Verne College of Law in Ontario. Rudolf,
an established librarian and scholar, was most recently head of
reference at the Lillian Goldman Library, Yale Law School.
Rudolf was with the Lillian Goldman Library for nearly 12 years,
where he coordinated reference functions, oversaw government documents,
provided reference for both Anglo-American and Foreign/International
collections, and served on several committees and task forces.
He has also held positions with the Marian G. Gallagher Law Library,
University of Washington. Rudolf is a recognized speaker and guest
lecturer on legal research and has lectured in several courses
at Yale Law School. He also taught music for a number of years
at Walla Walla College in Washington.

of Law," said Dean Held. "He brings a wealth of knowledge
to the law library and will be of great assistance to our students.
We look forward to his making a substantial contribution to the
continued growth of the College of Law."
Rudolf earned his Master of Librarianship degree and certificate
in law librarianship, as well as his J.D. degree, from the University
of Washington. In addition, Rudolf received a Fulbright-Hayes
Graduate Fellowship from the University of Vienna, and spent a
year doing dissertation research in Austria, Germany, Czechoslovakia
and Hungary.
