Surpass
Average Pass Rate for California State Bar Exam
ONTARIO, CA (July 28, 2004) More than 5,000
hopeful attorneys-to-be will test their legal skills for the California
State Bar Exam this week. If last Februarys exams were any
indication, approximately 35.3 percent of test takers will pass.
That is, unless theyre a student at University of La Verne
College of Law where the pass rate was 66.7 percent.
"We expect our students to do as well this
time around," said Alexis Thompson, dean of admissions for
the College of Law. "The University of La Verne College of
Law has always prided itself in offering personal and practical
teaching. Our pass rate is evidence of how successful our approach
is."
According to the results of the California Bar examination,
the University of La Verne College of Law surpassed the average
pass rate for California unaccredited schools (9.5%) and accredited
schools (31.9%), as well as California ABA-approved schools (49.5%).
Established in 1970, The University of La Verne
College of Law is California Bar accredited. The College of Law
offers a modern, technologically-advanced facility; small classes
that feature a traditional curriculum and practical skills taught
by respected, practice-proven faculty focused on individual students'
needs; and a prominent and supportive alumni network, all grounded
in a commitment to ethics and service. For more information on
