Mr. Frank J. Mistretta, Jr. is a 1987 graduate of the University of La Verne College of Law, where he was the president of the Student Bar Association and the recipient of several awards, including “The Highest Academic Achievement Award,” the “Corpus Juris Secundum Award for Overall Legal Scholarship” as determined by the faculty, and the “Student of Distinction Award,” given to him by his fellow students. 

He was also responsible for arranging the largest, single alumni donation in the history of the law school in 2004. It resulted in the creation of the Frank J. Mistretta Family Foyer located in the main building of the College of Law. 

In 2005, Mr. Mistretta was the recipient of the “University of La Verne College of Law Distinguished Alumni Award.” After recently retiring from a very successful private law practice in the city of Upland with an emphasis on Real Estate Law for nearly 20 years, Mr. Mistretta is now the managing member of several legal entities involved with the acquisition, development, and management of real estate in the Greater Inland Southern California region and Idaho. 

He resides full-time with his wife of 31 years, Therese, in Lake Arrowhead, California.  Frank and Therese have four children and four grandchildren.
